The Art of Living

It’s not just about day to day survival.
It’s about thriving, discovering, enjoying, loving, and being at peace
in this experience we call life.

We are all too familiar with the roadblocks that pop up over the course of our lives in the form of troubled relationships, painful experiences, stress, disappointments, health problems, or challenges at work. They often cloud our awareness about who we really are and what we are capable of becoming. We get stuck living "as best we can" and forget that we are naturally resilient - we don’t have to settle for just getting by!

The problem is that few of us were taught how to tap into our natural resources during challenging times. Instead, we become emotionally charged by a problem and develop thoughts and behaviors that are meant to help us cope, but they are often defensive and self-defeating. Over time, these thoughts and behaviors can become a dark lens through which we experience all other aspects of life. Ultimately, they can influence our physical health.

The good news is that it doesn't have to be that way! Self-promoting strategies can be learned. Harmful thoughts and behaviors can be changed. And anytime you wish, you can reclaim your right to a life that you enjoy living.

At the Bodhi Tree Counseling, we will work together to understand the nature of your concerns. We will explore and draw upon your natural resources to help you begin a new path toward wellness and healthy functioning. Here, you will find a caring professional who is dedicated to supporting you in your self-discovery and to helping you develop effective strategies for living a full and happy life.

Call today to reconnect with the art of living!

The Bodhi Tree, also known as the "tree of awakening," is an ancient fig tree that is primarily found in Asia. Many cultures consider it to be a sacred symbol, associated with happiness, hope, peace, love, self-awareness, enlightenment, and physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
These are also the goals of counseling.
